Hi Everyone,
It's that time again for another new stamp release from "Digital Doodles". This time Kathy put together a whole stamp kit filled with 14 sentiments that coordinate with many of her previous stamp releases.  She asked all the design team members to put together a notecard set using some of these sentiments with her stamps. Here is what I came up with......
I also used pattern paper from "Cosmo Cricket" and die cut paper from "KI Memories"

I love really adore this butterfly stamp from "Digital Doodles". I paired it with the "Thank You" sentiment. I love that how the sentiments are so easy to interchange with a variety of her stamps.

For this card, I added a little party hat to the kitty stamp and paired it with the "Happy Birthday to you" sentiment.

And this is by far my favorite of them all, the perfect little bird houses paired with the "Home Tweet Home" sentiment.

If you want to check out these stamps for yourself, you can find them HERE

Once again, thank you so much for visiting my blog. I hope you have a wonderful week.

Hi Everyone,
I hope you all had a relaxing weekend and are ready to get back to good old Monday again. I have a fun birthday card to share with all of you today.
When I first came across this vintage birthday image from "Graphics Fairy", I fell in love.  The beautiful illustrations with the song birds and wild flowers were simply breathtaking. If you haven't checked out this website before, I recommend that you do because they have awesome free vintage graphics to use for your paper crafting purposes. I added some "October Afternoon" and "Melissa Frances" pattern paper to compliment the image. The lacy border punch is from "Martha Stewart" and the canvas flower is from "Prima".
One more thing before I sign off for the day, Digital Doodles is having an open call for new Design Team members.  Kathy is fabulous to work with and her digi images are very cute.  If you want more info on how to apply. You can head on over to her website HERE.

Thanks for dropping by today

Pencil It In

Hi Everyone,
I have so much to share today from the new Digital Doodles release, "Pencil It In".  Kathy has now put together a set of digital stamps that are school related and are very very cute.  This stamp set is just perfect for those "back to school" projects and "teacher" gifts.
I used these amazing digital stamps to create a gift set for that special teacher in your life.

I created a "Planner" with space inside for teacher's to write notes and monthly calendars to "pencil in" special events and appointments.

Here is a coffee cozy that I made for that  teacher who just loves to drink coffee.

Here is a little thank you note with the cute school themed images. I just love the little worm and the dashed lines stamp.

If you would like to check out this kit, you could go HERE.

The Art of Creating

Hi Everyone,
I have been challenged lately to discover where paper crafting fits into my life and existence. At times, it is my lifeline that rescues me from feeling overwhelmed and completely insane and other times, it is simply an outlet for creativity. Whatever it is that drives me to create with paper and scissors, the fact is I love it and I love creating. I don't know what I would do without this hobby.  It all began for me when I was invited to a "Creative Memories" crop at the age of 19. I fell in love with paper and scrapbooking. I guess it is the warm feeling that I get during the act of creating something that I enjoy the most. I also enjoy the shopping aspect of the hobby, where I can purchase beautiful paper and stamps in all kinds of patterns and colors. Whatever the reason for my obsession with this hobby is, the fact is I love it and I feel it has truly saved me from many difficult times in my life.  I hope you all will find some time this week to create something.....Now on to my crafty share.....
I created this card with the new "Digital Doodles" stamp called "Party Hats". You can purchase it HERE. I also used tons of "October Afternoon" papers I added some glitter to the party hats to add a little sparkle and interest.

I couldn't just stop at one card this time. I envisioned putting these party hats on my owl stamp from "Hero Arts".  I just loved these party hats so much! So I created a mini card set last night when I had some free time.
Thanks for dropping by today, I hope your week is fabulous :)

Little Notecards

Hi Everyone,
Things have finally slowed down a little around here. All of my guests have gone home and now it is just me and my craft room until the next round of guests arrive in two weeks. It is always nice to have family and friends around and I miss all the laughter and the companionship but it is also nice to have a little quiet space for just me and my husband.......
For some reason, I have been wanting to make my cards in little miniature sizes lately instead of the standard size cards. I guess it could be the challenge of how to decorate such a small space. I also love that I can attach them to gift bags and use them as tags instead. Whatever reason, I decided to go with a mini size for these cards, they measure 3.5"X 4.25".  I used a vintage "Simplicity" pattern for the little girls images and added some martha stewart doilies, distress ink, and ribbon.
I fell in love with these vintage images when I saw them. I knew I had to use them on a card.

I used lots of the same types of pattern paper on all of the cards and just varied the placement up a little bit to make each card unique.

Pattern paper is from "Melissa Frances", "Girl's Paperie", and "My Mind's Eye".

Hi Everyone,
It's that time for another digital doodles release today.  Today's stamp is called "E is for Elephant" I just love the adorable elephant image; I thought it would go perfectly with a baby card. I also used a lot of "October Afternoon" papers here mixed in with some "My Mind's Eye".  The enormous flower was made on my cricut using the cartridge "Accent Essentials".  If you would like to purchase this cute little Elephant please go HERE.  I have some other projects in the works that I will share with all of you this week.
