Happy Bird Day Stamp

Hi Everyone,
Sorry for the lack of posts lately. I have been feeling a little under the weather and haven't felt much like breaking out my paper and creating.  But this week, I am feeling much better and I am ready to get back to crafting.  I have several projects that I am working on this week, so pop on by during the week and you might see something new :) Now for the crafty share of the day........

Here is a card I made using the new digital doodles stamp, Happy Bird-Day.  This is actually a birthday card that I created for my grandma.  She wanted me to make a card so that she could send it to my Great Aunt Rachel for her birthday.  I didn't realize, until later, that I colored the bird's hat like a santa hat (lol). Oh well! I guess I am ready to celebrate Christmas early this year :) Hope you are all having a fun week! Thanks for stopping by :)

Just Featured and PaperCutz Challenge

Hi Everyone,
My Etsy shop was just featured in HJM Art Gallery's Blog. Go on over and check it out. There are several Q&A's with me and the blog itself is just beautiful. HJM Art Gallery has some really beautiful original art pieces for the home. Here is the web address http://hjmart.blogspot.com/. In other news, I spent the weekend working on new card concepts and I came up with this "Feel Better Soon" card. I am also entering it in the Paper Cutz Blog Challenge. I layed out all of my papers for this card and came up with this color scheme of red, black, cream, and aqua. I kind of like how the three colors work together. The cardstock base is bazzil black. The pattern paper is old Making Memories paper that I had in my stash. The red satin ribbon is from a beautiful box of chocolates that my husband gave me for Valentine's Day. The "Feel Better Stamp" is from one of my favorite stamp companys, Hero Arts. The Owl Stamp I believe is from Imaginisce. And the paper lace is from another one of my faves, good old Martha Stewart. I really liked the way that this one came out. Hope you all like it too :)
