Togetherness

Hi Everyone,
Well I know I have been slacking on the blogging lately. It has been quite a busy summer for me. Me and my husband moved into a new house and ever since then we have had family visiting us nonstop. There is such a joy that I get from having our loved ones around us.  For so long, we haven't had any visitors over because we lived in such a small space and we also live 7 hours away from any family and friends. So it is nice to have company for a while :)    I have quite a few projects right now that I want to get done but we will see how far I get with those. Here is a card that I meant to share some time ago......
The sentiment describes perfectly how I feel about our family and friends. The sentiment is a free "Word Art" download from a blog called Bits of Paper by Jamie Laine.  She has a lot of free downloads and free svg files. Go on over and check her out :)
Thanks for dropping by today :)

Hope

Hi Everyone,
Its a beautiful day here in Sunny California. I hope the weather is treating you kindly wherever you are today. As I mentioned a while ago, I have been facing some difficult challenges in my life lately that have really brought me to a place where I have nothing to cling on to but hope and my faith in God.  Life is full of ups and downs and we never know where life is going to take us but we can stand firm on the promise that God will direct our lives and is in control.  This is a very hard lesson that I have learned and am still in the process of learning. I have my good day and my bad days; but hope is all that remains for me......Now on to my crafty share of the day....... I made this card using the new Digital Doodles stamp called "Beach Parasol." If you would like to purchase this stamp you can find it HERE.
Card Supplies
Cardstock: Bazzil
Pattern Paper:  My Mind's Eye, October Afternoon

Thanks for dropping by today. I hope you have a wonderful day :)

Hi Everyone,
I hope you all had a great weekend. Mine was very crazy and hectic with very little rest ; I am thanking God for weekdays right now (something I never thought I would say). I was hoping to get more scrapbooking done over the weekend but, as usual, scrapbooking takes the backseat.  I vow to get back to it one day :).....
Today I am super excited to share with you a card that I made using the new digital doodles stamp called "Little Lamb". Love this little lamb stamp. I decided to glitter mine up, but there are so many other ways to add texture to his fleece coat.  Many of the digital doodles design team member came up with great way to add dimension to this little guy. You can check them out HERE.  If you wish to purchase the stamp for.99 cents you can go HERE.  Thanks so much for stopping by today :)

Home is Where the Heart Is

Hi Everyone,
There is nothing more special to me than my home.  It is where we gather together as a family and experience love, joy, and fulfillment.  Home is where I can curl up on the couch after a long hard day and all the worries of this world just melt away because I am with my loved ones.  I love the smell of warm cookies filling up the house with its pleasant aromas and spending time with my husband after his work day just talking and cuddling with each other.  The home is much more than a physical space, it is a place to recharge our spirits and refresh our beings.... Here is  a card I created using the digital stamp "Home Sweet Home" and "Field Flowers". I thought these cards would be good to give away to friends and family along with some yummy baked goods.
I printed one of the houses out from the "Home Sweet Home" stamp and paper pieced it using paper by "October Afternoon".  I cut out the little bee from the "Field Flower" stamp and added him to my card. Isn't that little bee so cute?
I stamped the sentiment from "Hero Arts" onto a piece of cardstock and added a little bit of ribbon and stitching. If you would like to purchase these stamps you can find them HERE for .99 cents.  Thanks so much for stopping by today :)
