Flutter Bug

Hi Everyone,

I am back again this week to share a card I made using the new stamp, "Flutter Bug", from Digital Doodles. For inspiration for this card, I just set out a bunch of my favorite embellishments and papers on my working desk and decided to see how they would all come together.  I usually come up with a concept in my head before I begin working, but I was challenged by another blogger to pull out various supplies and see what happens. I kind of enjoyed the freedom to explore different concepts and not to feel worried about sticking with the plan in my head. It was kind of a fun challenge, and I think I will try to make more cards this way in the future :)  If you are interested in purchasing the cute Flutter Bug stamp go HERE.

Thanks for dropping by today :)

I have finally moved into my new home and I love it!  We have a beautiful view of the city at night :)  Everything is still in boxes but we are slowly beginning to put things away a little at a time.  I can't wait to have my craft room set up again so that I can start creating. Today I have a new card to share with all of you from the new Digital Doodles stamp release "Fur-Ever Friend" You can purchase this stamp HERE.  I decided to go with a round card this time, since I rarely do round cards, I thought I would give myself a little challenge.  Thanks for dropping by today :)

Graphic 45

I am just popping in real quickly to share. Right now I am in the process of moving and everything is in complete chaos, so I won't have any new projects to share this week. But believe me, I am dying to get back to paper crafting. For the time being, I am having fun surfing the net and finding my next must-have supplies. This new collection from Graphic 45 just blew me away with it's beautiful vintage Alice in Wonderland themed paper. Lately, I have really been interested in more vintage style papers and embellishments. I can't wait to get my hands on this collection. I thought I would share it with all of you. It's called Halloween in Wonderland and it is so fabulous!
I love the vintage feel of this pattern along with the beautiful drawings.

This newsprint pattern will work just perfectly for tags and cards.

I just love the beautiful colors and the detail in the artwork on this one.  That keyhole in the center is just the perfect touch!

If you would like to see more from this collection click HERE.
Thanks for dropping by today :)

Garden Card

Hi Everyone,
It is a beautiful day here in California! The sun is shining and the birds are chirping. I just love days like these, when everything is bright and glistening from the sun.  It is just a reminder that at the end of each dark road, there is a hope of a bright and happy day.  I hope you are all enjoying the weather wherever you are today.  I have a beautiful card to share with all of you that celebrates the joys and hopes of summer time.  I used the beautiful new stamp called "Garden Mouse" from Digital Doodles. It is such a fun stamp and reminds me of gardening in the summer time.  It is just the cutest stamp!  I decided to add some sunflowers to my card, because they are just the quintessential summer flower :) I finished my card  with some fun paper from October Afternoon.  You can purchase the "Garden Mouse" stamp here. I wish you all a beautiful and lovely day.

Dealing with Life

Hi Everyone,
I thought I would pop on in to explain why I have been MIA lately. I have been dealing with a serious family medical emergency. I have been struggling to stay positive in the face of the biggest challenge of my life.  This is really not the place for me to share all that I am facing, but it is difficult for me and has been a challenge for me to find solace in crafting and being creative lately. I know that this too will pass, and I will feel better soon. I am just praying for God's strength and love to carry me through. I just hope that you can all understand. I will continue to post as frequently as possible on my blog :) I do love sharing ideas and projects with all of you :)
Now on to my crafty share for today.....

I created this card for a teen girl's high school graduation. I used some older paper that I had lying around from my graduation scrapbook and I created some swirly flowers.  Thanks for stopping by today. I wish you all a healthy and happy weekend :)

Happy Bird Day Stamp

Hi Everyone,
Sorry for the lack of posts lately. I have been feeling a little under the weather and haven't felt much like breaking out my paper and creating.  But this week, I am feeling much better and I am ready to get back to crafting.  I have several projects that I am working on this week, so pop on by during the week and you might see something new :) Now for the crafty share of the day........

Here is a card I made using the new digital doodles stamp, Happy Bird-Day.  This is actually a birthday card that I created for my grandma.  She wanted me to make a card so that she could send it to my Great Aunt Rachel for her birthday.  I didn't realize, until later, that I colored the bird's hat like a santa hat (lol). Oh well! I guess I am ready to celebrate Christmas early this year :) Hope you are all having a fun week! Thanks for stopping by :)
